Catalyst- A Short Form Fiction Workshop
Highlighting flash fiction, this workshop will also appeal to writers of all short form fiction. Chance will be the inspiration, the I Ching our tool for generating new work. We will read, write, edit and discuss the short form. We might consider creating a zine with our words.
Barbara Renel’s short form fiction writing has been widely anthologised in print and online and she has a number of flash fiction competition successes. A collaboration with the illustrator Paul Taylor, titled 23, will be published early 2026. She has an MA in Creative Writing from Lancaster University.
