Festival Finale
We are so honoured and proud to welcome Sir Chris to our festival this year.
He will be in conversation with longtime friend Marie-Elsa Bragg, talking about his years in the Lake District and of a lifetime amongst the mountains of the world. Chris will talk about his book Everest The Hard Way and the significance of the 50th year anniversary of that 1975 South-West face climb which saw Britons on the summit of Everest after a 50 year struggle following the first expeditions in the 1920s. Chris talks openly, honestly and personally about his experiences. This will be a talk not to be missed.
