Festival 2024
Welcome to this years Festival of Words and Ideas.
The Words by the Water Festival of Words and Ideas returns to Theatre by the Lake on Wednesday June 5th and events will be held for five days, including Sunday June 9th.
However, prior to the main festival, we have a wonderful appetiser when much-loved author Alexander McCall Smith takes centre stage in an afternoon event on the 10th of May. There will be the opportunity to meet Alexander after his event when he will be signing books and chatting to his many fans.
