Tudor Feminists - Ten Renaissance women ahead of their time

The term ‘feminist’ would have been anachronistic in the Tudor period, but Cumbrian author Rebecca Wilson explores the lives of ten women, from Catherine Parr to Margaret Beaufort, who lived their lives in such a way that challenged their patriarchal world. These Renaissance women, from the high born to the merchant class, were rule breakers and stand out against a backdrop of domestic servitude.
