Marie-Elsa Bragg

Spirituality and Creative Writing Workshop

Every writer, beginner or experienced, needs to return to the source of creativity for the first draft of their next project. Using lectures and private creative exercises, this workshop will explore literary and monastic methods that help us ‘get out of the way’ and follow what is often described as the river of creativity.

Rev Marie-Elsa Bragg is a priest in the Diocese of London, author and broadcaster. Her first novel Towards Mellbreak is a novel about Cumbrian hill farmers living in close to relationship to nature; her second book Sleeping Letters is poetry and prose, facing her mother’s suicide and her recent chapters of Theology are written alongside paintings and sculptures.

There will be a 15 minute break during the workshop
